    Join us for a special Facebook Live event. Hosted by Kaitlyn Wells, Assistant Director of Admissions, two of SIPA's Admissions Ambassadors will discuss their experiences studying and living in NYC.

    Ayanda Francis is a Jamaican-American second year MIA candidate from Atlanta, Georgia, concentrating in Economic and Political Development and specializing in International Conflict Resolution and Asia. At SIPA, she has been involved in SIPA Students of Color as the former finance chair, and Women in Peace and Security as the former Vice President. Before attending SIPA, she was a Fulbright ETA in Turkey and after graduation, she will be joining the US Foreign Service.

    Andrew Liu Andrew Liu is a Master of Public Administration candidate at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), concentrating in International Security Policy and specializing in in the East Asia region. He earned his BA in Political Science from City University of New York, Baruch College. Prior to graduate school, he served on active duty as a commissioned officer in the US Marine Corps for about seven years. He completed an internship at the Office of the Secretary of Defense as a security policy intern last summer. At SIPA, Andrew studied international politics, cyber conflict and policy, Chinese politics and security policy, and defense analysis. He is also one of the founding members of the SIPA Digital and Cyber Group. Andrew's career goal is to serve as a foreign affairs specialist in the US government.
