Upon receiving the secure transmission of your Social Security Number, it is immediately encrypted. Only the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number are available in plaintext for identification and account matching purposes. Your Social Security Number is available for decryption only by those officials who oversee automated loading of personal information into student information systems, and only for that limited purpose.
Our databases are actively monitored and are firewalled to ensure the protection of your personal information, and we employ all industry-standard safeguards.
Columbia SIPA Executive Education may occasionally cancel or postpone a program. Whenever possible, participants will be notified at least two weeks before the scheduled start date.
If this occurs, participants may receive a full tuition refund or apply the full amount paid to a future Columbia SIPA Executive Education program, including the postponed program. No additional fees or penalties apply.
To cancel, email PickerExecEd@sipa.columbia.edu. Columbia SIPA will retain a non-refundable deposit equal to 30% of the full tuition fee; this amount may be applied to a future Columbia SIPA Executive Education program. Tuition paid beyond the 30% deposit will be refunded if cancellation is received before the program begins. No refunds are issued after the program has commenced.
