MPA-ESP Spring Final Briefings

    The Master of Public Administration in Environmental Science and Policy invites you to attend the Spring 2021 Final Workshop Briefings. During the Final Briefings, students will present their culminating output for ENVP U9232 The Workshop in Applied Earth Systems Policy Analysis. In the spring semester, new groups are formed to undertake analytic projects for real-world clients in government and nonprofit agencies. These teams, working under the supervision of faculty members, write a report analyzing an actual environmental policy or management problem faced by their clients. 

    This year's projects and clients include:

    • Project: Climate Change Resilience through Agricultural Water Reuse for Food and Wine Production in the Hudson River Valley, New York (Client: The WaterReuse Association)  
    • Project: A Federal Policy to Manage Refrigerant Banks (Client: Natural Resources Defense Council)
    • Project: Building Equity: Advancing Racial Justice in Federal Flood Infrastructure Projects (Client: NAACP)
    • Project: What financial and economic incentives exists for restoration in the US? (Client: World Resources Institute)
    • Project: The Power of Nature: Accelerating carbon pricing policies and legal framework for Ecuador(Client: Conservation International- Ecuador)
